The qualification period for bringing unfair dismissal claims were increased from one year to two. Individuals who have had their employment ended, may want to make a claim to an employment tribunal.The coalition government increased the qualification period from 6th April 2012. However there is no qualif879ication period for complaining to a tribunal of discrimination, nor is there a qualification period for a number of workplace entitlements, such as time off for public duties, time off for ante-natal care and receipt of statutory sick pay.
